What is Page Speed Insights?


 


Page Speed Insights is part of Google's Speed Tools suite. It analyzes web pages, identifies their weaknesses and offers a solution to speed up page loading. Convenient and easy to use. When does Page Speed Insights Matter?

Many of the tips are really helpful for improving your site's loading speed. For example, using browser cache or minifying scripts and images. But not all recommendations may be effective for your site or compatible with some plugins.

Why you shouldn't take it as a basis?

 

PSI analysis is a simulation of the loading of web pages from users. Basically, the indicators are measured from Europe, and page loading depends on the location of the server. The closer the server is to the main audience, the faster their pages load.

PSI excludes optimizations to speed up page loading and offline caching. Most importantly, PSI checks network latency, excludes server side processing.

Also, bug fixing may not affect PSI because:

1.         The result may change even without additional updates on the site,

2.         The system does not calculate the site speed,
